Exhibition: Muenter and Kandinsky, Munich, Feb 10 - Jul 03, 2007

The exhibition house "Lenbachhaus" in Munich presents Gabriele Muenter, the well-known woman painter and founder of the Blue Rider Group, in her almost unknown role as a photographer. The Blue Rider was an association of expressionism artists located in Murnau close to Munich. Since the opening of architect Frank Gehry's Guggenheim Bilbao nearly a decade ago, native-born new masters, like architect Calatrava, have been redefining the skylines of cities around the world.
