GerMANY Faces

Germany offers an impressive variety of cultural riches: cutting-edge Bauhaus architecture, unique museums ensembles such as Berlin's Museum Island, the Pinakothek complex in Munich, Stuttgart's State Gallery and the opening of Hamburg's emigration center "BallinStadt".

The art scene is alive and vital, and this year numerous important events will take place throughout the country, including the 'Constantine the Great' exhibit opening in Trier and the world's most important contemporary art exhibition, Documenta 12, in Kassel presented every 5 years.

Spectacular modern art also abounds in Leipzig, one of Europe's new art capitals and a magnet for international collectors.
